Supporting Digital Access to the NHS Healthy Start Scheme

As you may be aware, the NHS Healthy Start scheme is changing. By March 2022, paper applications will be replaced by applying digitally, along with some other key changes to the scheme. Healthy Start families get help from the government to buy healthy food and milk and free Healthy Start vitamins. It is important that in our roles working with families, we are aware of the scheme and how families can sign up.The supporting digital access to the NHS Healthy Start Scheme in Calderdale is a bespoke training session focused around Healthy Start. It will equip you with the knowledge to support the families you meet to register for the Healthy Start scheme.

Available sessions: Friday 21 January and Tuesday 25 January

The training is aimed particularly at those people whose role involves engaging with or supporting families in Calderdale who are in pregnancy or have children aged under 5. Please use the Eventbrite link to book onto the training course. There is still some availability on dates in January. A link to the TEAMS meeting will be sent out to you ahead of the attendance date. Fri, 21 January 2022 12:30 – 13:15 GMT | Click Here to Book. Tue, 25 January 2022 15:30 – 16:15 GMT | Click Here to Book If you have any questions or need any further information please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
