You are welcome to visit and find FREE, good quality school uniforms for Calderdale Primary and Secondary schools.

Donations of good quality school uniform, shoes and supplies is always welcome.

Do your part in reducing waste and keep good quality school clothes in circulation!

Roller Skating back at the YMCA!

Roller Skating is back and running at the YMCA, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, times are posted on the YMCA website.

Places are strictly limited and must be booked in advance. Tickets are £5 per session and include skate hire. There is no booking fee and you can book online.

Family Roller Skating is back at the YMCA in Halifax

The YMCA in Halifax are excited to announce the recommencing of their Family Skating Sessions!

Sessions are every week on Friday 6pm – 8p and on weekends, Saturday and Sunday between 12pm – 1.30pm.

In line with the COVID guidelines, you are advised to book your place in advance or entry cannot be guaranteed as places are strictly limited.

Participants must wear face coverings, as per the face mask guidelines.

FREE School Uniforms from Halifax YMCA

Don’t forget, if you need a need a school uniform for your child, but can’t afford a brand new one, then the Halifax YMCA may be able to help you.  They have LOADS of donated uniforms just waiting to be second loved.  Mainly Primary School uniforms, but some Secondary too.

The school uniforms that have been donated and are FREE to anyone but if you want to make a donation to the YMCA, that’s up to you. There are also some coats, shoes and reading bags.

Similarly, if you have any unwanted uniforms, these can be dropped off at the YMCA office, Crossley Street, Halifax, Tel: 01422 353626

Last year the YMCA helped over one hundred families to kit their children out with a school uniform.

Attention All Skaters! YMCA Halifax, Crossley Street, Halifax are holding Skating Schools on both Wednesday 24 April, 2:00pm-3:30pm and Friday 26 April, 2:00pm-3:30pm. For just £5 (including skate hire), qualified coaches will show you how to stop, turn and skate backwards.
