Touching, funny and utterly original, Freckle Productions’ delightful adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s Stick Man is back in town!
What starts off as a morning jog becomes quite the misadventure for Stick Man: a dog wants to play fetch with him, a swan builds a nest with him, and he even ends up on a fire! How will Stick Man ever get back to the family tree?
This award-winning production, from the team behind Zog, Tiddler and other Terrific Tales, and Tabby McTat features a trio of top actors and is packed full of puppetry, songs, live music and funky moves.

The Victoria Theatre has teamed up with their Pantomime production company, Imagine Theatre, to bring an online Santa show into the homes of families in the borough this Christmas.
Santa’s Christmas Rescue is a 35-minute live theatre show for children up to age 7 or those who are simply young at heart! It will be streamed from 10 December 2020 and for just £5 you can have unlimited views up until 3 January 2021.
The online streaming of Santa’s Christmas Rescue is a great opportunity for people to support their local theatre in such a difficult time for the industry and ensure live performances will be back once more next year.
There is also an option to purchase a ticket at £7.50, with the additional £2.50 going to Acting for Others, a charity supporting theatre professionals throughout the UK.

From the people who brought you the hilarious – 6 Wives of Henry VIII, Living Spit are returning to Halifax, this time to the Victoria Theatre with their new comedy show on Thursday 28 February, 7:30pm.
Howard Coggins knows nothing about Science. Stu Mcloughlin knows even less.
Nevertheless, they have agreed to give a lecture on the subject, and after enlisting the help of the smartest scientific sages of the ages, that’s just what they aim to do.
They’re determined, like a pair of Atoms missing a couple of electrons, to stay positive. With jarring jokes, pitiful puppetry and the silliest of scientific songs, you can expect this raucous romp through the hilarious history of scientific stupidity to be… well, if nothing else, thoroughly entertaining.
It might even be… scien-triffic!
