The brew and Chat group recently received a £500 Warley Ward Forum Grant to pay for their annual Christmas party.
The icy conditions and -5 degree weather didn’t deter these hardy souls from attending and having a great time!
The grant paid for a nice spread and an excellent entertainer banging out some classic Lonnie Donegan tunes and getting everyone to sing-a-long
Special thanks to those volunteers running the raffle, collecting subs and working in the kitchen.
Few comments from those attending included;
‘Thank you for the grant very much appreciated’
‘Didn’t think many would turn up but this is great’
‘Really enjoy coming to the group its great to see every one’
A Ward Forum Grant may help your organisation with planning an event, getting new resources or doing essential repairs.
