Following on from last years British sporting success suddenly things are slowing down to walking pace.
First Walking Football – and now Walking Netball – clubs are springing up throughout the country as sportsmen and women, somewhat past their athletic prime, are finding that their involvement in these physical sports doesn’t have to end in middle age.
If you would like to try Walking Netball why not go along to Illingworth Moor Methodist Church on a Tuesday evening at 7.15 pm to 8.15 pm.
If it is a long time since you have played or never played then come along for a gentle reintroduction to a variation on netball.
The first session is FREE and subsequently £3 per week. It is about having fun, keeping fit and enjoyment.
