The next Fixture for the Halifax Panthers Ladies Open age Rugby Team is on!

Halifax Panthers Women’s Team play their next game against Featherstone Rovers Ladies at the OSCA foundation this Sunday August 21st.

Kick off at 2pm

     VS   

The OSCA pub will be open from 1pm onwards.

Don’t forget, OSCA host a range of social and sporting activities for all ages and levels of fitness, from outdoor sports to indoor exercise classes, including skateboarding, dancing and TaeKwonDo.

The OSCA Foundation is your community hub for weekly activities and events, sports related and much more!

Currently running at the OSCA:

Andy’s Man Club every Monday except Bank Holidays from 6:30pm. Just turn up!

Car boot sales every two weeks. Sundays from 7am to 12pm

Next car boot sale dates: 14/08, 28/08, 11/09, 25/09

Live music every 2 to 3 weeks

Next live music event: 4 Play Quo on 14/08 @ 5pm

As well as that, every Sunday the grounds host matches for the Halifax Panthers Women team.

There are regular weekly exercise classes.

  • Old tyme and modern sequence dancing – Tues, Thurs 2.00 – 4pm, in the Enderby Hall.
  • Tae Kwon Do – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – 6.30 – 8mp – All ages
  • Over 50s Walking Football – Tuesday – 10.30 – 1pm
  • Zumba – Tuesday & Thursday 6:30 -7:30.
  • Keep fit, Indoor – Thursday 9.45 – 10.45 – All ages
  • Rug Ratz, Nippers Rugby Training – Saturday & Sunday – 9am – 10.30am

Various junior outdoor soccer teams  for both boys and girls, from 5 years to 16 years.

You need to book into each activity separately with the instructor. You can do so by visiting the centre at the activity time and introducing yourself.

The facilities at the OSCA can be rented for training sessions, functions, conferences and birthday parties. With ample parking space, spacious rooms and wide outdoor grounds, there is a lot to offer for many event needs.

Halifax Panthers Ladies Open age Rugby Team play their next game against Illingworth Ladies RUFC at the OSCA foundation this Sunday July 31st.

Kick off at 2pm

The OSCA public bar will be open from 1pm onwards.

This is a Big local Derby fixture with Halifax Panthers hoping to revenge a 48-0 defeat only two weeks ago to Illingworth Ladies.

Flavourfest : People’s Park Multi-Sports Fun Day June 1st

Flavourfest, with the help of Healthy Holidays Calderdale, starts with an afternoon of outdoor fun at People’s Park, bringing you the opportunity to try out various sporty activities and enjoy a great day out at your local park!

Join us at People’s Park on Wednesday the 1st of June for an afternoon of fun for local children, young people and families.

You can try the Climbing Wall, Caving, Archery, Zorbing, Relay races, Squash, Penalty Shoot Out, Mini Olympics and more.

There will also be arts and crafts and face painting.

The event is free, open to everyone, just drop in.

Please Note : People’s Park with its ponds, nature area and playgrounds is open to everyone and people use it at their own risk. The park will be particularly busy on 1st June. Younger children must be accompanied by an adult. Please keep dogs on a lead and observe the dog control orders in place in this park.

Crossley Belles U11 forming a new team players wanted!

Crossley Belles are looking for players in Year 6 and Year 7.

Our girl’s section is continuing to increase, and we will have another team starting next year but are recruiting now so they can hit the ground running next season.
