Shelf Gala is here again on Saturday 7 July, 1:00pm at Shelf Hall Park with a miniature railway, York birds of prey demonstration, police, fire service and army displays as well as many stalls.
Be entertained by the Magpie Movers, Selah Sounds, Crusaders Drum and Trumpet Corps and more.

Shelf Pre-School will be holding a stall at this years Shelf Gala offering a teddy tombola and a hidden treasure box!
They are looking for donations of clean pre-loved teddies/soft toys which can be dropped off at Shelf pre-school from Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm.
Donations are needed by Wednesday 1 July 2015.
Saturday 5th July 2014 is the 55th Shelf Gala held in Shelf Hall Park situated on the main road (A6036) through Shelf.
The Gala will be opened by the Gala Queen,
Miss Megan Horner (right) with her attendant Miss Lizzie Sparkes.
Outside the arena there is all the fun of the fair, stalls and displays, food outlets, small games for children, Beer Tent and Tea Tents. There is a five a side football competition with teams from local school, organised by Shelf Juniors AFC.
