Earlier in the year the Friends of Roils Head group were successful in securing a £470 Warley ward forum grant to purchase a large amount of timber.
The timber is being used to erect a fence to separate the bridle path, between Rye Lane and the Broadley estate, from Roils Head Moor.
It is hoped that this will stop the problem of off-road motor bikes and quad bikes from being ridden on the bridle path then straight on to the moor.
The work has been done by the councils countryside officer and his volunteer group.
If you have an interest in Roils Head moor and want to get involved then send your details to Tony King, Ward Coordinator at email@example.com
