Free online Yoga courses for all every Wednesday and Friday

WEA Adult learning have set two yoga sessions open to all ages and abilities.

These online courses aim to help learners experience a positive and long lasting effect on general health and well-being through the regular practice of yoga techniques with a particular focus on relaxation.

Gentle Yoga every Wednesday (Course reference: C3680076)

Starting Wednesday 9th February for 12 sessions from 12pm – 2pm

Relaxing Yoga every Friday evening (Course reference: C3680077)

Starting Friday 11 February for 12 sessions from 7.15 pm – 9.15 pm

Relaxation and Stress Management Group – FREE Group

Relaxation and Stress ManagementThe Practice Health Champions can show you tools and techniques to help manage life’s challenges and provide a supportive and creative space for the reduction of everyday stresses and tensions.

Learn how to de-stress and relax and how to work with your breathing in a powerful and effective way.

These classes are for beginners with no previous experience necessary, ideal for those looking to learn more about meditation, relaxation and stress management.

Oasis Self Help Group

The Oasis Self Help Group is for anyone who has experienced mental health difficulties, or anyone interested in attaining good mental health.

Using creative activities including drama techniques, poetry, relaxation and voice work, the group aims to help people develop self-expression, confidence and self-esteem.

The Drama group is facilitated by an experienced and qualified drama worker and meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 7.30pm at Voluntary Action Calderdale, 2 Hall Street, Halifax. It is a safe and supportive environment, friendly and fun. No previous experience of the arts is necessary.
