Saturday October 1st from 12 onwards

Come along for a family friendly fun day and enjoy a BBQ and Live Music along wtih many fun activities for the kids!

Your contribution wil help raise vital funds for people living with life-limiting illnesses.

Overgate Treecycle Scheme helps you dispose of your Christmas Tree

Take out one of the hassles of clearing out the Christmas and New Year leftovers by making sure your natural tree will be responsibly taken away, while providing much needed help to a good cause!

Overgate Hospice bring their Christmas Tree recycling initiative yet once more. For a donation of £10 towards the vital work done by the Hospice, they will collect and dispose of your natural Christmas Tree.

Please ensure you have removed all decorations, lights, any bases from your tree and leave it somewhere easily accessible for the volunteers.

The scheme is kindly supported by Green Valley Arborists, Ripponden Christmas Tree Farm and GBWoodfield commercial vehicles.

40th Anniversary Overgate Hospice Midnight Walk September 18th

The Overgate Hospice Midnight Walk will return on Saturday 18^th September, with both the 7 and 13 mile routes starting and finishing at North Bridge Leisure Centre, Halifax.

Many participants will walk in memory of a loved one while others do it for fun or a challenge with friends, family or even their dog!

Claire Howard, Event’s Organiser said; “As we celebrate the 40^th anniversary of the Hospice, the Midnight Walk will mark the occasion perfectly by bringing our community together for a very special night. We are so grateful to everyone that has signed up so far and cannot wait to welcome you on the night.”

Overgate Colour Run 2019

If you haven’t heard of a Colour Run get ready to be amazed! This year, this fun family event will be held on Saturday 13 July at Savile Park, Halifax. It consists of a 5km route with runners being doused in coloured intervals culminating in a ‘Colour Party’ at the finish line.

The Overgate Colour Run celebrates its sixth year in 2019 and they are looking forward to making it the most colourful yet! Since it began in 2014 the Overgate Colour Run has seen more than 5,000 supporters take on the 5km course raising over £180,000 for the Hospice.

Registration for this year’s event is now open and you could be on the start line as we get colourful for Overgate.
