With Christmas now over, many of you may be thinking about how to get rid of the Christmas tree.
In the UK approximately 250 tonnes of Christmas trees that could have been recycled are simply thrown out after Christmas but at Ogden Water nature reserve, outside Halifax, there is a FREE Christmas tree recycling service, which is the perfect way to get rid of your unwanted tree.

The Calderdale Countryside Service are always looking for new volunteers and they will be holding an induction/taster session at Ogden Water Country Park and Nature Reserve on Thursday 20 November 2014.
