There are nursery places available at the Ling Bob Junior, Infant and Nursery school for this academic year!

If your child turns 3 before the:

  • 31 August, your child can join our Nursery in September;
  • 31 December, your child can join our Nursery in January;
  • 31 March, our child can join our Nursery in April.

We also offer wrap around care for Nursery children in our Bobbies Before and After School Club.

If you want to attend Dean Field Reception class, now is the time to join our Nursery and allow your child to adapt to the school surroundings and get to know their future class friends.

Innovations Children’s centre is taking bookings for September 2021

Innovations Sure Start Children’s Centre is now taking bookings for those who wish to enrol their children in September 2021.

The nursery is open to preschool children from 0 – 5 years of age.

There are facilities for babies and infants up to 2 years, a toddler room and a pre-school area.

Due to Coronavirus, we are unable to host open days or arrange for visits.

We offer full and half day care, 2 year funding, EEF funding and 30 hours per week.

All our staff are fully trained and experienced. All staff have undergone a DBS check.

Affordable Childcare at Mixenden Parents Resource Centre

Mixenden Parents Resource Centre Nursery is now open offering affordable childcare with places available from birth to 5 years.

Open Monday to Thursday – 9am to 4pm

Full days 9am to 4pm just £10 – Provide your child’s own lunch, we will provide 2 healthy snacks and drinks throughout the day.

Sessional 9am to 11.30am or 1pm to 3.30pm just £5 – 1 healthy snack and drinks provided.

Times can be negotiable.

Mixenden Parent Resource Centre offers a range of services including, Adult Education both accredited and non-accredited courses, onsite Nursery, onsite Advice and Support Workers who can help with debt,benefits and housing issues, weekly luncheon clubs and craft club, plus Makin Dixon Family Law Solicitor fortnightly drop-in and CMBC Business support and advice drop-in.

As well as the above MPRC also have the following courses coming up:

  • First Aid  at work – Starts Tuesday 19 April – 1pm – 3pm
  • Grow and eat – Starts Thursday 14 April – 9.30am– 11.45am
  • Summer Cooking – Starts Wednesday 20 April – 9.30am– 11.45am
