The Daffodil Club, a new social group for Mixenden at the Addy

You heard it here first, there is a new social café with a brew, cakes and games at the Addy. A club for the young at heart who would like to get out and have fun!

Join us at the Addy Café in Mixenden every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.

Launch Meeting will be

11th October 12.30pm to 2.30pm

No booking needed, just come along!

£3 for a warm drink and cake and if you feel lucky, £1 for bingo!

RE:Mixy Party in the Park Mixenden Saturday 18th June from 12 noon

Following on from the success of the Waste Not, Want Not event in Lee Mount last year, we are pleased to invite you to the next free environmental themed fun day, RE:Mixy Party in the Park, in Mixenden on Saturday 18th June, 12 noon – 3pm. The event has been organised in collaboration with NHP, All 1 Collective and Lab, local councillors and Positive Impact Sports and as well as other local partners.

The event promises to be a good day, with the opportunity to try something new, enjoy sports such as tennis, basketball and rounders, meet local organisations, get creative with art and story telling as well as find out ways of doing things differently and getting involved in developing local green spaces such as Mixenden Urban Park and much more!

There will also be a free lunch provided and everyone can take away a free goody bag. Everyone is welcome!

Community Support Services is providing activities this half term including Baking and Wood Crafts at just £5 per session or £10 for the full day.
