The event will allow people to learn about career options directly from employers and professionals. In addition, this event will showcase the educational pathways and explain the skills needed to pursue different careers in the sector. The event will promote a range of careers linked to the care sector. This post is designed to attract newly qualified and unqualified staff, staff returning to childcare following a break and staff wanting to get into this line of work. You will be working with children and their families to support them to develop and have the best start in life.

Project Workers: Healthy Minds ‘Recovery and Support’ teams

Recovery & Support is the “spine” of Healthy Minds; the embodiment of the organisation’s ethos and approach, with three main elements: peer support groups; recovery programme (courses & workshops) and information & advice drop-ins. We are looking for people with a good knowledge of Calderdale communities and have experience in support work, group work, community development, advice or similar roles. Alongside the existing teams and local communities, recruited project workers will be involved in developing and delivering strong, community-based services and activities that support people emotionally, socially and practically.
Upper Calder Valley Post: 37.5hr per week
Halifax posts: 18.5hrs per weekFull time post: NJC pt 26, £25,545 pro rata + 5% pension
