Festival of Cultures at Calderdale College

calderdale_college_block_logo_strap[1]Calderdale College are hosting the ‎Festival of Cultures‬ at the Inspire Centre on Wednesday 3 June 2015 between 1pm and 3pm.

The event is open for everyone to celebrate the different cultures in the local community and across the College.

There will be live music, free food and drinks, information stands and activities including face painting, dancing, games and crafts.

Sports Open Evening at the Inspire Centre

sport open eveningThe Inspire Sports & Fitness Centre at Calderdale College will be hosting an Interactive Sports Open Evening for all students considering studying sport or joining the College Rugby, Football or Cricket Centre of Excellences on Tuesday 10 February 2015 from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

The Open Evening is also open to members of the public who would like to join an evening dance or fitness class or individuals or clubs looking to hire the facilities, so come along and:

  • Have a go at your chosen sport or activity! .
  • Speak to Industry experienced staff and partners about courses and activities on offer.
  • Take a tour around the Inspire Centre.

Insanity! H.I.I.T and Body Conditioning

fitness class inspireThe Inspire Centre at Calderdale College is holding 1 hour fitness sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays.

INSANITY (H.I.I.T) – Monday 6pm to 7pm
These short, intense workouts help improve athletic capacity and condition, improve glucose metabolism and improve fat burning

Body Conditioning – Wednesday 6pm to 7pm
maintain physical fitness and overall health and wellness, helps you tone up.

Sessions are £4 for non-members and £2 for students.

New and Exclusive Climbing Club!

Calderdale College is starting a climbing club on Tuesday 30 September 2014 from 5pm to 7pm.

At the Inspire Centre, Calderdale College, Francis Street, Halifax. All sessions are supervised by qualified instructors.

£3 per session and the minimum age for participation is 6 years old.

No booking required, just come along and climb!
