The Festival of Cultures has been running for the past six years, growing each year with more stands, more activities, more performances and more attendees year on year. This year the Festival will be on Wednesday 3 April, 12:00pm-3:00pm at The Inspire Centre, Calderdale College, Francis Street HX1 3UZ.
This year’s theme is ‘Colour me this way, Colour me that way’, that celebrates the many spectrums of life that we have here in Calderdale. The event is coordinated by the Calderdale College EDI Committee and implemented by the Students and Staff of the College.
After the positive reception of the Holocaust Memorial Day Commemoration Event in January, the College wishes to continue building its place as a part of the Calderdale community by inviting members of the Council to join us at the event, interact with staff, students and visitors from local groups, and enjoy the many performances and activities to encourage bringing the community together.
