Highgate Methodist Church invite you to a charity fundraising concert at their Hall, in aid of the homeless of Calderdale.

‘Music for a Winter Afternoon’

Saturday, 3rd December 2022 at 2.00pm

With local performers including the church’s very own High Fiver choir, this promises to be a brilliant afternoon!

Hal Clarkson and the Forever Young Band
The Highgate High Fiver Singers
and guest soloist: Emily Taylor-Smith (Leeds Conservatoire)

Tickets available from Highgate Church, the Band and Singers; suggested
donation £3. Refreshments available.

Help the Homeless Grant Scheme

Deadline: 15 March 2019

Grants for capital projects are available to small and medium-sized charities registered in the UK working to assist homeless people to rebuild their lives and return to the community.

Funding is targeted at projects to find practical ways to help disadvantaged individuals return to the community through training or residential facility provision, rather than merely providing short term shelter.

Help The Homeless was founded in 1975, since when they have made grants totalling more than £2 million. It is a cost efficient charity with very small overheads, and so able to distribute a large proportion of funds to the organisations nationwide that help some of the UK’s most disadvantaged people.

The annual deadlines are 15 March, 15 June, 15 September, and 15 December. Funding is for capital items and projects.

Calderdale SmartMove is giving you the chance to sleep under the stars at the Shay Stadium with its Under 1 Roof event, helping support homeless and vulnerable people into safe and secure accommodation.
