Pennine Housing, Sanctuary Housing and other members of the Together Housing Group along with the residents association have teamed up to find out what really matters to you in your neighbourhood.

On 2, 9 and 16 April there will be door-knocking sessions on Furness estate. What makes this community such a great one to live in and what can be to done to help it improve.

Then on Friday 25 April there will be a community day between 10am – 3pm. Beginning with an estate clean up in the morning, residents are invited to get involved with a spring clean. Bring out any bulky unwanted items for a one off pick up and removal.

In the afternoon there will be a number of activities available for kids and young adults to enjoy, including football and rugby coaching sessions from Huddersfield Town FC and Halifax RLFC. The Dance Mill will be giving FREE lessons in Zumba and street dance.

There will also be raffles throughout the day with prizes kindly donated by Morrisons Supermarket.
