Advice and Guidance Drop-in every second Friday at Innovations Children’s Centre

North Halifax Partnership along  with Halifax Opportunities Trust are bringing advice and guidance sessions in our Sure Start Children’s centres around employment and applying or jobs, support with applying for universal credit and signposting to specialist services around mental health, debt and much more.

Employability Open day Monday 12 September at Illingworth Children’s Centre

Calderdale & Kirklees Careers drop in service

ckcareersAre you aged 16 to 19 and feel you may benefit from guidance in education, training, employment and apprenticeships?

If so, why not pay a visit to Calderdale & Kirklees Careers Centre at 16 Alexander Street for a drop in service held Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm.

There is also a weekly service every Wednesday at OrangeBox Centre from 1pm to 4pm.

Apprenticeship event at the Orange Box

Calderdale Council, Grow your future team and Working Wonders are involved alongside Leeds City Region to host a Calderdale event on the Monday 26 January 2015 to show case and promote apprenticeships and youth support.

The session will include:

  • Existing apprentice’s to talk about their careers and answer questions
  • Employability tips
  • Employer area
  • Café area with free refreshments
  • Live music and a raffle with prizes

The event will take place at the Orange Box, Halifax from 3pm to 7pm and the structure will include show case areas for Apprenticeship events in February and March 2015.
