From the Brew & Chat Group Pellon – Christmas Party

The brew and Chat group recently received a £500 Warley Ward Forum Grant to pay for their annual Christmas party.

The icy conditions and -5 degree weather didn’t deter these hardy souls from attending and having a great time!

The grant paid for a nice spread and an excellent entertainer banging out some classic Lonnie Donegan tunes and getting everyone to sing-a-long

Special thanks to those volunteers running the raffle, collecting subs and working in the kitchen.

Few comments from those attending included;

Thank you for the grant very much appreciated

Didn’t think many would turn up but this is great

Really enjoy coming to the group its great to see every one

A Ward Forum Grant may help your organisation with planning an event, getting new resources or doing essential repairs.

For more information on Ward Forum Grants, contact Tony.King@calderdale.gov.uk or keep checking www.halifaxnorthandeast.com to find out when the next round of Ward Forum Grants is active.
