Clean Up Clifton Beck with Calder and Colne Rivers Trust

Calder and Colne Rivers Trust will be holding a clean-up Clifton Beck Day on Saturday 25 July 2015, starting with balsam bashing from Shelf to Brighouse and a riverside tidy in Wellhome Park from 10am to 12pm with trained monitors to sample all the becks.

There will be an information tent in Wellholme Park where you can find out more about the work of Calder and Colne Rivers Trust, do some bug identification, and children can enter a bug painting competition as well as enjoy a nature goodie bag.

If you want to help with any of these activities, or you would like to put your name down for monitor training, please get in touch and tell us about your skills by email to or just turn up and visit the tent on the day.
