Festive Fun Workshop with LEGO Bricks

This workshop is open to all children aged 5+.

This Festive Fun workshop on Sunday 2 December, 10:30am-12:00pm at Southowram Community Centre HX3 9QJ will provide children with plenty of themed model building during the exciting run-up to Christmas.

Bricks4Kidz will be building using Technic LEGO bricks, imaginative colour boxes, and Christmas mosaics.

The activities are also suitable for children who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or awaiting a diagnosis. In addition, their siblings and peers are welcome to join in the activities. Check the event listing on for the earlier start providing a quiet time.

The Building Better Calderdale Futures (BBCF) programme is funded by the Short Breaks initiative and subsidised by Calderdale Council.

The BBCF programme aims to support families of disabled children – primarily those with learning difficulties – with LEGO brick-based sessions delivered locally in the district.

During the session, the children will be provided with a safe environment to access a range of LEGO brick building activities which can be undertaken at their own pace. Experienced Bricks4Kidz instructors will be on hand to assist and support.

– Parents/Carers of children with autism must remain at the venue.

– A simple form must be completed by all parents/carers to allow us to provide data to Short Breaks. No personal data will be retained without consent.

Booking is essential through Eventbrite.

‘World Builder’ – Summer Workshop with LEGO Bricks

On Thursday 26 July, 9:30am-11:00pm, Bricks4Kidz will be holding a workshop at the Mytholmroyd Community Centre, HX7 5AF using LEGO bricks to fire the imagination and build a world.

In the workshop suitable for children 5 and above, Bricks4Kidz are doing what they do best …. awesome building fun with LEGO bricks!

It doesn’t take much for a child to use their imagination to create new worlds and environments using LEGO bricks.

The “World Builder” workshop fuses the idea of Minecraft, alongside LEGO City and Friends, to allow the children to create buildings, communities, or the natural world around us.

The Technic LEGO builds will add something special to their creations.

Tickets are £4.90 per child and are available through Eventbrite.

All the bookable sessions will be available on – keep checking as additional sessions will be added as they are confirmed.
