Calderdale 2023 Apprenticeship Event March 8th at the Shay

C+K are organising the Calderdale 2023 Apprenticeship event, taking place on Wednesday 8th March 2023 from 5-8pm at The Shay Stadium, Halifax. This annual event provides visitors with the opportunity to talk to employers, colleges, and apprenticeship providers to find out about their vacancies and company information.

Visitors do not need to book to attend and can turn up anytime between 5-8pm on the 8th March.

Students and their parents/carers will be able to talk to exhibitors and current apprentices. They will be able to access information, leaflets, details of live vacancies and C+K Careers advisers will be on hand to give individual advice and guidance.  All students are encouraged to attend, even if they have an idea of their future plans.

Information to help schools to promote the event to their students has been sent into school and all Year 11 students in Calderdale have received an email inviting them to the event.

3  Day warehouse training with £80 to cover expenses and a guaranteed job interview upon completion of training for Job ready candidates!

Castle View Recruitment has a high number of Industrial Vacancies with regular starts for a range of clients that we have worked with for many years. This agreement has been set up to meet the needs of our employers training needs and has reduced staff turnover as we are providing them with the right people for the right job.

Our fast-track programme over 3 days offers:

  • Improving own learning and performance
  • Problem Solving at Work
  • Introduction to the Facilities Industry
  • Workplace Hygiene
  • Health, Safety and Security
  • Interview Skills

All the above qualifications are desired within the industrial sector, they are also nationally recognised and transferable to any job role.

All candidates who are offered a place on the 3 day training programme, will be offered £80 on the final day of the course to cover any travel costs the learner may have incurred.

To qualify for this unique opportunity, you must be over 19 years old and currently unemployed.

  • Must have lived in the UK for 3 years+
  • Bank details (To transfer £80 expenses)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum Age 19+
  • Unemployed
  • Must have lived in the UK for 3+ Years
  • Can not be in Education
  • Must live in Halifax

5 Day warehouse training with £150 to cover expenses and Employment Opportunities March 14-18

This offer is only available to residents of Halifax.

Our fast-track programme over 5 days offers:

  • Improving own learning and performance
  • Problem Solving at Work
  • Introduction to the Facilities Industry
  • Workplace Hygiene
  • Health, Safety and Security
  • Interview Skills

All the above qualifications are desired within the industrial sector, they are also nationally recognised and transferable to any job role. Successful candidates will then be asked to attend the 5 day training programme.

All candidates who are offered a place on the 5 day training programme, will be offered £150 on the final day of the course to cover any travel costs the learner may have incurred.

C+K are organising the Calderdale 2022 Apprenticeship event, taking place on Thursday 24th March 2022 from 4-8pm at The Shay Stadium, Halifax. This annual event provides visitors with the opportunity to talk to employers, colleges, and apprenticeship providers to find out about their vacancies and companies.

This year sees the return of our face-to-face events. The event is a ticketed event and visitors will need to register for tickets to attend to attend.

Students and their parents/carers will be able to talk to exhibitors and current apprentices. They will be able to access information, leaflets, details of live vacancies and C+K Careers advisers will be on hand to give individual advice and guidance.  All students are encouraged to attend, even if they have an idea of their future plans.

Information to help schools to promote the event to their students has been sent into school and all Year 11 students in Calderdale will receive an email inviting them to the event.
