Weekend Care / Disability Support Calderdale Drop In Session

Disability Support Calderdale are going to be running some drop in sessions in partnership with Weekend Care.

The next one is set for Saturday 23 April at Higgins Close, 1 Savile Park Road, Halifax, HX1 2ES from 11am to 1pm

These are open to all and will be an opportunity for people to discuss or seek help and advice on a range of issues, from benefits and appeals, advocacy work, involvement in accessability issues, signposting to relevant services to housing issues.

Drop in session allowing you to access free, independent and impartial advice from Citizens Advice Bureau staff about a range of matters, including benefits, employment, housing, healthcare, education and much more.

Money saving ideas at Mixenden Library – FREE session

If you’re fed up of spending so much on your gas and electricity why not come along to a money in your pocket session and get a few ideas on how to save. It’s FREE and impartial, and you could save £200 per year (on average) on gas and electric bills.

If you are 30 weeks+ then go along to an antenatal workshop where you will receive help to feel confident and reassured about those first few days and weeks after your baby has arrived.
