Healthy Minds Information Service

Healthy Minds Information Service provides free and confidential information on mental health and wellbeing through regular drop in sessions.

They support people who are experiencing or have experienced mental distress. It could be that you have mental health problems and need some support, or that you are concerned for a loved one who seems distressed. All are welcome to use the Healthy Minds Information Service, they are happy to talk to anyone about questions they have regarding mental distress, mental health issues or opportunities for recovery and activity in Calderdale.

Regular Drop in sessions:
We provide the information at outreach sessions in community venues across Calderdale,
and try to make the service as accessible to everyone as we can.

  • Halifax Central Library Every Thursday 1pm – 3pm
  • Mixenden Parents Resource Centre – 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month, 9.30am – 11.30am. Contact: 01422 240043 (Open to all – not just parents and carers)
  • St Augustine’s Centre – 2nd Tuesday of every month. Contact: 01422 342719. This session coincides with a community lunch provided by St Augustine’s.
  • The Probation Centre, 173A Spring Hall Lane – 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month, 9.30am – 11.30am. For people supported by the Probation Service.
