Bradshaw is holding a village community get together on Monday 25 February, 7:30pm at Bradshaw Cricket Club, 15A Bradshaw Lane, Halifax HX2 9XB for ideas to get creative together and make Bradshaw a sight to behold!
Also, hear about the celebrations planned for the day, come and get involved with your village community activities and put your own ideas forward.
The Tour de Yorkshire begins on Thursday 2 May, with the race coming to Calderdale on Sunday 5 May, starting from the Piece Hall in Halifax and passing through Bradshaw that day.

What can YOU do to promote Bradshaw Village as the Tour de Yorkshire passes through?
If everyone on the route through the village decorates a piece of their house or part of the village, imagine what a spectacle we would have.
During this half term Sure Start Children’s Centres thought it would be nice to organise a Party Play Bus at Northowram and Shelf Children’s Centre Hub, Lydgate, Northowram HX3 7EJ for their regular Thursday play group ‘Chat and Play’ which runs from 1:30pm–3:00pm.
This Thursday 21 February, 1:30pm-3:30pm you’ll get your chance to explore the Play Bus. If you haven’t heard of the Play Bus before it is a double decker bus that has been converted into a soft play centre.
All families are welcome with children aged 0-5. The fee per family is £1.60 as normal (with snack provided).
The free Coffee Afternoon at St. Hilda’s Church, Gibraltar Road HX1 4HE is every Wednesday, 2:00pm-3:30pm.
All are very welcome to come along and have Tea, Coffee and Biscuits (and occasionally cakes!) and join in the chat and company.

Join Ash Green Children’s Centre this half term for a Family Craft Session at the Upper Site Portacabin, Clough Lane HX2 8SN on Wednesday 20 February, 12:00pm-1:30pm. a picnic lunch will be provided.

Orange Box young people’s centre will be hosting free Half Term activities over the school holiday for ages 13 – 19 years run by Time Out Calderdale. Activities will run from Monday 18 February to Friday 22 February as shown below.
There will also be access to Youth Works drop-in which is a safe space for young people aged 13-25 to come along, ‘chill out’, listen to music, access the internet or have a brew.
The drop-in is always staffed by youth workers who can offer advice, information, support or guidance on the whole range of issues that affect young people.
The drop in is open weekdays from 3:30pm-5:45pm.
No need to book, just turn up – you will need to register when you arrive (with parent or carer if under 16) if you haven’t already, or you can fill out a registration form here and bring it with you when you come.
