At OSCA (Ovenden Sports and Community Arena) Foundation we are focused not only on the development of a first-class community sports hub to improve the lives of residents of Calderdale, but we also aim to enable people to set and achieve goals so they can realise their wider potential, confidence, self-esteem and in turn inspire and lead others.

We do everything we can to meet the expectations of those who come to play sport, (or dance or party!) at the wonderful Forest Cottage centre. With a variety of sport activities and top-notch facilities to choose from, we offer the warmest of welcomes to our centre users.

Existing Trustees have chosen to develop and grow the Centre steadily, organically, and carefully, thus ensuring a financially stable and exciting opportunities ahead for the organisation.

Run by the community for the community, the current Trustees, who have established OSCA and worked hard to achieve so much are now looking for new people to join the Board to bring fresh skills and enthusiasm to take the centre forward even further.

The small number of Trustees can’t continue forever without new people to join the Board – without your help (and despite being in a great financial position) the future of the centre could be in doubt.
