Police investigating reports of a man indecently exposing himself in and around Halifax town centre have arrested and charged a man in connection with the offences.

Paul Smith aged 64 of Gorton Fold, Bolton, Greater Manchester was arrested in Halifax Town Centre yesterday morning and remanded in custody.

He was subsequently charged with 14 related offences and was due to appear before Bradford Magistrates on Friday 13 May.
