Members of the Running Aunties group used a £500 Warley ward forum grant that was put towards transport costs and the hire of a guide to walk up Snowdonia.

This is the first time the group have done anything like this, they said it was a very exciting and memorable experience. Throughout the day group members continuously encouraged and supported each other to complete the walk.

The group also used the event to raise funds through sponsorship and monies raised will go to the Akirah charity that do excellent work both in the UK and abroad.

The group would like to thank the Warley ward forum grant scheme for the £500 grant that allowed them to have such an unforgettable day.
