The RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield and Bradford branch and Huddersfield BID are planning a fang-tastic first ever Zombie Walkies this Halloween.
Local families and their dogs are invited to take part in this interactive trick or treat event around Huddersfield town centre on Sunday October 31st…. in fancy dress too!
Starting from 11am at St Peter’s Gardens, Byram Street in Huddersfield Town Centre with spooktacular stalls and games; this dog and family friendly walk around the Town Centre calls in at different eateries and trick or treat pit stops along the way to celebrate Halloween and promote some great businesses too.
The event is free to attend but participants are encouraged to dress up, make a donation or raise sponsorship on their walk for the local RSPCA.
You can sign up to the Zombie Walkies on the day of the event from 11am or sign up now to secure your Zombie Walkies goody bag.
The event is also open to those who would just like to visit the Halloween hub of stalls and games at St. Peter’s Gardens – all are welcome!
All funds raised at Zombie Walkies go towards the important welfare work and animal care the RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & Bradford support in our area.
Lauren Moore, Fundraising Manager said:
‘’We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone to our first Zombie Walkies and can’t wait to see the costumes people turn up in! As a local, self funded branch of the RSPCA, we rely heavily on our community’s support to help us care for all the animals in our Centre and we really hope people will take part in this event with or without their four-legged friends. You can even just pop down to say hello – or should that be Howloooooo!’’
With the added extra of rosettes and prizes awarded to the best-dressed individuals, group or pair (adult, child or dog) this promises to be a ghoulishy good Howloween!!
