Grants of up to £1500 to support community projects and groups in Bradford, Calderdale and Kirklees are now available as Locala’s Community Fund is open for 2020.
Over recent years more than £60,000 has already been donated to a variety of community, not for profit and voluntary groups doing exciting and important work in their local area. These have included Scouts and Brownies, junior sports clubs and church groups as well as programmes supporting people dealing with issues such as dementia, social isolation, drug and alcohol misuse and disability, along with work to promote community cohesion and environmental programmes.
This year, the Fund is particularly interested in receiving applications from groups who focus on:
- Reducing social isolation
- Opportunities for young people
- The local environment
- Supporting carers
More details, including the eligibility criteria and online application form can be found on the Locala website here: https://www.locala.org.uk/get-involved/community-fund.
Application forms can also be sent by post, and any questions or further information can be requested from Hollie Scargill, Engagement Officer via firstname.lastname@example.org
The deadline for applications to this year’s Locala Community Fund is 12th October 2020, at 5pm.
