Based on club feedback our next Active Calderdale Development Evening is ‘Club Structures-Building your club for Success’. We work with many clubs in Calderdale, some starting up as new, some looking for the best way to structure financially and some clubs wanting to merge to create umbrella multi-sport clubs. We are putting on this free course to support clubs on that journey.

It is important that sports clubs take the time to explore different club structures. By attending this workshop you will gain an understanding of what structure is right for your club to enable success and stability.

This workshop covers:

• The importance of your club structure
• An overview of different legal structures
• Top tips for becoming incorporated
• Selecting the best status for your club, including CASC, charities and CIO’s
• Getting to grips with gift aid

This workshop is delivered by Club Matters: Sport England’s one stop shop for sports clubs. Club Matters provides free, convenient, practical resources to help you develop and run a sustainable club.
