The Friends of Shroggs Park require volunteers to help with keeping your community park clean and tidy.

With your help we would start by clearing up the woodland area, cutting back of the ivy/vegetation from the steps and pathways, a cleanup of the rubbish and broken fences.

Chris Sutcliffe Area Countryside Officer for Calderdale Council will attend with necessary tools and organise us to carry out the cleanup.

The date for the first clean up will be Friday 18th October 2019, 10am to 12.30pm and all volunteers would meet at the vehicle entrance at Wheatley Road, Next to the yellow barrier.
