The Beechwood Big Picnic is back on Saturday 7 September. 2019.
Is a great day out for all the family, even the big kids. Teenagers will be able to enjoy a wide range of events including the Beechwood climbing wall, mountain biking with Mixenden Activity Centre, football with Crossley Juniors or cricket with Bradshaw Cricket Club.
The Beechwood Big Picnic kicks off at 12pm and the afternoon is jam packed full of events.
You don’t have to be Mo Farrah to turn up and have a go in our Family Fun Run starting at 3pm . You can run, walk, crawl or be pushed so give it a go. Running and walking is a great way to keep fit and our course in only 1K long. It’s a great opportunity to race your family or friends to see who the ultimate running (walking or crawling) champion in the family is.
If running is not your thing how about a go on the climbing wall for just £1 a go, Rock climbing can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Climbing the wall provides a real adrenaline rush whether you get all the way to the top or just a couple of feet off the ground you will get a real sense on achievement.

Its up to you if you pick a category or go for all four. Show off your fur baby off and see if you can take home a prize.
