The Prince’s Trust is now recruiting for Get into Customer Service programme run in partnership with HSBC!

Please note that young people need to have certain ID documents, including photographic ID, to be able to attend the Taster Day – please see the attached list or contact me if you have any questions about this.
Get into Customer Service aims to give young people, who are work ready but do not have vocational skills, a mixture of practical training and qualifications, that will allow them to move into employment, education or training.
The 4 week programme is available to 16 – 25 year olds, living in Leeds, Bradford and the surrounding area who are not in employment, education or training.
Over the four-week programme, young people will have the opportunity to:
• Learn about customer service within the banking industry
• Receive training in HSBC products and services
• Develop your customer service skills whilst on placement in HSBC Contact Centre
• Be supported in applying for positions with HSBC with interview advice
• Boost your employability skills
• Build your confidence and improve your teamwork skills
• Optional 6 month follow up support on programme completion to help you discover your next steps!
• Your travel costs will be covered and your benefits will not be affected
Venue – Leeds (Arlington Business Centre, next to the White Rose shopping centre)
Taster Day: Thursday 23rd May 2019
Programme Dates: Monday 1st July 2019 – 26th July 2019 As the work experience on this programme will be in a HSBC Contact Centre all young people will also have to complete the DBS and credit checks that this working environment requires. They will be given additional support if needed to do this.
Each candidate will need to provide proof identity, proof of their right to work and proof of address. Right to work can be evidenced by a current passport or a copy of their birth certificate – a candidate with a birth certificate must also provide evidence of their National Insurance number.
Young people must have photographic identification in order to attend the Taster Day; this can be a valid passport, full driving licence (provisional is accepted for young people under 18), Current National Identity Card or a Current EU Residence Permit (issued by the Home Office).

If you are referring a young person with any current or previous offences, it is mandatory that the REFERRAL FORM is completed (preferably by their Offending Manager) and returned to Hannah Beswick (please see contact details below). Unfortunately if we do not have a completed REFERRAL FORM then we will not be able to engage the young person(s) on the programme. Please note: It’s important to note that a criminal record will not necessarily prevent them from taking part.
