  • The man who brought electric light to Halifax and helped develop the telephone
  • And, the inventor of Linoleum and Lincrusta! 

Wednesday 10 April, 2pm

  • John Crossley & Sons of Dean Clough, 1803-1982 – a slideshow
  • The story of the world’s largest carpet factory told in pictures
  • A Halifax institution and one of the town’s most respected employers
