Bringing together an amazing group of women to show how we can work together to increase bonds of friendship, trust and understanding across all communities, Ver de gris arts are holding a celebration on Friday 8 March, 10:30am-12:00pm at King Cross Library.
Verd de gris arts are close to finishing the first of a 3-year creative programme of work with women and girls living in Calderdale and they’d like to invite you to celebrate some of the wonderful work that’s been created on the project so far!
Through poetry, song and conversation, the event will feature the words, voices and shared wisdom of some of the attendees to their three creative groups:
- ONE VOICE – a creative steering group made up of a wonderfully diverse mix of women. The creative heartbeat to the three years.
- BEHIND THE MASK – a creative well-being programme that gives women a platform to talk openly about the factors impacting their on quality of life.
- FRIENDS – an inter-generational project which uses the theme of ‘friendship’ to give rise to beautiful stories and thoughts from a group of local mums and their daughters.
It promises to be a magical morning full of love and hope.
