Eureka! Lates – British Science Week 2019

On Thursday 7 March, 6:30pm-9:30pm, Eureka! will be holding an event to kick off British Science Week 2019 by being wowed, intrigued, and quite possibly set on fire.

Eureka! Lates are fun, adults-only evenings with demos, shows, mexican food and a BAR! All in our interactive museum, with no kids hogging the exhibits…

Light Fantastic
Don’t miss the new 20 minute show to experience lighting cackle and see sound waves set alight with flames.

Science Demos
Get involved in some truly amazing experiments including holding fire in your hands with our specialist Enablers.

Light Painting
Have a go at long exposure photography and make your own light painting.

Special guests Noisy Toys
The folk from Noisy Toys will be in the museum with their Audio Assault Buggy. Take part in the cutting edge of experimental sonic research with the Nose Test, the Bass Buzz, the Goop Test and more.

Science Experts
There will be some top brainy Academics on hand from Leeds University to talk about science ‘n’ stuff. Get your thinking caps on!

This brilliant evening will also offer a chance to check out Patternarium, a brand new exhibition in the Spark gallery created by the talented bods from IOU Theatre.
