Mothers Who Make – Halifax is a friendly and relaxed monthly meeting for mothers who make in any art form: words, music, theatre, film, visual arts, crafts, etc etc. Makers can be professional or not, at any stage in your career/venture or simply aspirational to begin making. The next meeting is Wednesday 21 November, 10:00am-12:00pm at The Artworks, Shaw Lodge, Shaw Lane, Halifax HX3 9ET.
The meetings are informal ’round table’ talking circle style discussion where everyone has their turn to talk about anything they need/want to discuss relating to making and motherhood. We are supportive and non-judgemental.
Please bring any work you want to work on and/or show and talk about.
Children of all ages are welcome to attend and mothers of older/grown up children are also extremely welcome. A few toys and pens/paper to entertain the little ones are provided and feel free to bring your own too.
The meeting is free to attend and tea, coffee and cake is provided, but please also feel free to bring your own snacks too.
