A linear walk with Jill Liddington on Sunday 1 July to visit the homes of Halifax’s own nest of suffragettes.
A 4 hour walk across Savile Park, along Queens Road to the Mechanics Institute where, in 1911, Emmeline Pankhurst urged women to boycott the census.
The details of times and where to meet will be supplied when you book a place.
Bring a snack lunch and drink. Returning to the start by service bus late afternoon.

It will not be possible to just turn up on the day.
