Wednesday 7 March 2018 – 2pm to 4pm
2018 marks 200 years since the birth of Emily Bronte. In 1838-9 Emily was resident at Law Hill, Southowram working as a schoolmistress. Jack Sharp, who built that house, is claimed as an inspiration for Heathcliff.
High Sunderland, an old Hall not far away, has been proposed as a strong influence for the house she dubbed Wuthering Heights. David re-tells some little known but fascinating tales.
Tickets available from Square Chapel Centre for the Arts
