Calderdale Council in collaboration with Calderdale Council of Mosques will be supporting the Visit My Mosque Day 2018.
You are invited to visit Hopwood Lane Masjid Mosque, 97 Hopwood Lane, Halifax HX1 4ET on #VisitMyMosque Day which this year takes place on Sunday 18 February between 11:30am-2pm.
Light refreshments will be served and the open day will provide an opportunity to members of the public, local neighbours and the local community to visit the Mosque, learn about the charitable social action work that is carried out by the Mosques in Calderdale. You will have the chance to look at some of the Mosque exhibitions, observe prayer and have an introduction to The Quran.
#VisitMyMosque Day has, to date, over 200 mosques opening their doors to their neighbours of all faiths and none.
This year’s theme is Open Doors, Open Mosques, Open Communities!

It is an independent, democratic and cross-sectarian body working for the common good without interfering in, displacing or isolating any existing work.
The MCB’s vision statement is “Empowering Muslim communities to achieve a just, cohesive and successful British society”
