The Return of the Shibden Spooktacular

The Shibden Spooktacular is returning on Thursday 26 October 2017 5:30pm – 9pm. Enjoy a FANGtastic event of fun, frights & fireworks!

All children (and adults) are encouraged to come to Shibden Spooktacular in fancy dress. Whether you want to be a spooky skeleton or a dapper Dracula, pretty princess or wicked witch, put on your best costume and head on down for a fang-tastic night.

Be sure to get down early for our ghoulish fancy dress competition being held by the stage area at 6.25pm. There will be prizes for the best dressed children.

This year, there will be a choice of fairground rides located by the cafe, for the kids to go on and keep them entertained.

Let ghouls and ghosts guide you around the Shibden estate on one of 2 Spooky Walks. As you make your way through the creepy decorations, see if you can spot our witches, goblins and maybe the odd vampire or two.

There will be two separate walks around Shibden Park, both of which will start from beside the lake. The first spooky walk will depart at 6.45pm and is ideal for our younger guests. The second spooky walk will set off immediately after the firework display has finished.

Please note that due to several steps and uneven ground along the route, this part of the evening is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.

Explore the spooky happenings of Shibden with a ride on the popular Ghost Train of Shibden Hall. Running all evening (except during the fireworks).

There will be several food vendors available on the night serving everything from Hot Dogs to Soup, Coffee and Donuts to name but a few. Be sure to bring your appetite!

Tickets are only available on the day, at the entrance to the park. There are no advance sales.

Adults: £5 Adults
Children: £3
Family: £15 (Up to 2 Adults and 3 Children)

Get to the event using the FREE Park and Ride from Eureka.
**There is no charge for parking your car, or using the bus**

The first bus leaves at 5:15pm from the Eureka car park but there will be a frequent shuttle service. The last bus is expected to leave Shibden Park at 9:15pm when the event finishes.
