RugbyForce comes to Halifax RUFC Bid to improve Ovenden Park facilities

Halifax RUFC needs YOUR help this SUNDAY as we take part in the RFU and NatWest RugbyForce initiative.

A group of England rugby legends have joined The Rugby Force, a team of rugby internationals offering grassroots clubs the chance to receive support and advice at their NatWest RugbyForce weekend celebration on 24 and 25 June.

Now in its fifth year, the community initiative run in partnership between NatWest and England Rugby aims to help clubs across country attract new members and to become stronger and more sustainable businesses.

Lunch will be served for volunteers who help with various tasks to ensure the grounds, clubhouse and changing rooms are in great shape for the new season.
There are a whole host of jobs that we need your help with, including:

  • Strimming
  • Fixing fence poles
  • Plastering
  • Painting
  • Grouting
  • Tidying up

This is a crucial day for the club to help us ensure the facilities are well maintained for the season ahead, so any help you can lend would be greatly appreciated.
Even if you can only spare an hour, please come along and help. The club will be open from 9am for volunteers to come along.
For more information, please speak to director of rugby Tony Curtis on 07554 013307 or chairman Darren Emmerson on 07979 186021.
