Ogden Water Practical Days

Help with the ongoing management and new projects designed to look after the wildlife and infrastructure of this Local Nature Reserve.

Ogden Water Local Nature Reserve offers a superb opportunity to escape from the stresses and strains of everyday life. Over 300,000 people visit Ogden Water every year for picnics, walking, feeding the ducks, family outings and nature activities.

Meet Chris Sutcliffe at Ogden Water. The session runs 9.45am – 3pm.

Bring a packed lunch. No dogs allowed (with the exception of guide and hearing dogs). Please wear old clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.

Practical days are running on:

  • Tuesday 20 June – 9:45am
  • Tuesday 25 July – 9:45am
  • Saturday 19 September – 9:45am

    There are signs saying that dogs must be on a lead around the reservoir and yet when I walked around a few days ago nearly every dog was off its lead and some of the bigger dogs when they’re are little children about are very scary
