The Doggy Dash For Life is back for its 5th Anniversary

THE RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & District and Cancer Research UK Kirklees are to celebrate the 5th anniversary of their upcoming annual event ‘The Doggy Dash For Life 2017’. The two charities are hoping to raise vital funds whilst having lots of fun with the Huddersfield community and their pups.

The event takes place in the beautiful grounds of Beaumont Park with registration open from 10.30am. Both charities are calling on the public to sign up for the 3.5K fun run/walk and enjoy the day’s activities which also include a fun dog show, German Shepherd Obedience Demonstration, local trade stalls and a special performance from Honley Girls Choir

Fay Gibbons, Events Coordinator said

“We’re really looking forward to our 5th annual Doggy Dash For Life. It’s a great opportunity to show your support for two amazing charities and also have a really fun day out with your family. Beaumont Park is such a beautiful place and there’s lots of activities to take part in on the day for you and your pooch!’’

The fun run will begin at 11.30am, with registration opening from 10.30am on Sunday 4 June 2017 and is open to all ages. It’s £12 to register which will be split equally between the two charities and all participants will receive a free goodie bag and rosette for taking part in the dash.
