Important News!

Halifax Neighbourhood Policing Team have received numerous reports of groups of antisocial youths causing issues in Ovenden and Lee Mount and have invoked a Dispersal Order for this weekend!

This means that anyone behaving in an antisocial manner or causing residents to feel threatened will be served a notice and will not be permitted to return to the area for 48hours. If you are under 16 years old, you will be taken home as the notice must be served in the presence of your parent or carer.

*Please note that groups of young people not causing any trouble will not be affected. Local youth workers will be walking around in the area to talk to you, if you have any concerns.

You can report antisocial behaviour to the Police on 101 (999 in an emergency).

Alternatively, you can help us build up a picture of where the worst antisocial behaviour hotspots are by emailing information to team@halifaxnorthandeast.com
