Over the years lots of parents have asked for a DIY course, covering basic jobs from re-decorating rooms to putting up shelves and changing plugs… the list goes on.

Sure Start are trying to put together a basic DIY course for next term but in order to offer this they really need ideas from families of exactly what areas of DIY they need or would like to learn most.

Could it help to know the best tools for the job, what the different settings on a drill mean or maybe how to prepare wood ready for painting?
