Friends of Moorside School attended the Ovenden Ward Forum on Thursday 22 September where they received a cheque for £500 which was handed over by Ovenden Ward Councillors Anne Collins and Bryan Smith.
The money will go towards the cost of a new play area as part of its redevelopment for 2018.

Ward Forum Grants are still open to applications so if you have an upcoming or ongoing project that benefits the ward to which it applies to, you can apply for upto £500 before the deadline on Wednesday 30 November.
