Getting Real-Life training at Project_Twelve:31

Project_Twelve:31 😎 Summer Programme saw another fantastic session this week at Forest Cottage with young people learning First Aid with Open Airways Training. Many thanks to Halifax Boxing Club for funding the accredited Real Life Futures course.

This week its been all about bandaging as you can see in the photos below. However the young people demonstrated their learning from previous weeks lessons by applying what to do if you find someone unconscious to the drugs and substance misuse sessions with Dave Calcott from Lifeline.

Next week’s programme includes more sessions with Lifeline, Geoff, the Fire Service and tasty Bake Off with Kim!

And if you’re a babysitter, peer mentor or just want to know more, book now for our ‘Think Safe, Be Safe, Stay Safe’ course with Karen or Heather.

Talk to Karen about getting involved in our North Halifax Young People’s Forum where you can get together to influence the services available for young people in North Halifax, and plan for future provision!!

For more information about these or anything else going on over the summer, contact Karen 01422 255402 or email team@halifaxnorthandeast.com
