WINNER: Dawn Hartley

Dawn Hartley is a local business woman who had a vision to make a difference and help people in the village where she was born.

For over a quarter of a century Dawn has run the the successful and well respected care company, Community Support Services.

After investing in an unused building in Mixenden, Dawn designed and opened the Addy for the people of Mixenden and for those who need that little bit extra support.

Dawn is an exceptionally hard working individual who is always going above and beyond to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided with high quality care.

The Addy offers adults with disabilities the opportunity to learn, develop and nurture their skills so that they are ready to enter the world of work. Those that have attended have come on leaps and bounds, obtaining work placements, gaining extra skills and support to make the transition into employment.
